Major highlights in this role: - Led SCCT Emp. portal mobile app which improved safety observations reporting, terminal/self KPIs follow up and facilitated employee services (Xamarin Forms). - Developed terminal operation dashboards that tackled equipment utilization and productivity that led to over 1 Mil $ in hard cost savings (PL/SQL, ETL and OBIEE12c). - Led Terminal operating system upgrade project “Navis N4 & Billing” from version 3.1.28 beta to 3.6.25.5 while overcoming Navis limitation by developing custom solutions or modifying system forms themselves through customization or code injection. - Led development of operation communicator express application which is a queuing system between equipment operators and dispatchers to improve dispatcher task management, task progress update & productivity measurements (ASP.NET Core MVC, SignalR). - Implemented BCP in terms of High availability and DR plan for the following services (SQL Server DB, Oracle DB, Power BI, OBIEE, Web Servers, and App. Servers). - Improved monitoring for DB environment and application environment (OEM, SCOM and ELK stack). Responsibilities: - Lead Development team through analysis, design and development phases. - Manage Solaris team, Oracle DB team, Development team in efficient manner. - Design Application infrastructure starting from Hosting, Networking & Deployment. - Set Business continuity plan for Critical services and system within IT BA section for ( Terminal Operating System, Database both Oracle & SQL, Solaris Environment, Application/Web Servers, Published Services) - We use SCRUM on Azure DevOps for projects management, source control and effective follow up and communication. - Perform Business Analysis & Scope Definition for incoming requests to IT BA team and follow up on implementation as both SCRUM Master and Product Owner. - Engage with the team in software development and business intelligence (ETL, Dashboards) development while providing technical guidance to the team members. - Responsible for communicating progress and roadblocks to stakeholders. - Responsible for IT BA budget planning and saving analysis/claim for IT department
