Internship project: System analysis - Dissolved Oxygen Control System on Deaerator System Location - PHE ONWJ offshore platform PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PT PHE ONWJ) is one of the subsidiary of PT Pertamina which is an Indonesian state owned oil and gas company. PHE ONWJ has 11 oil and gas platform under its responsibilites, one of it is ECHO Platform. At the time, this important platform had a performance problem in one of its plant, which is the waterflood system. The problem occured in the deaerator plant, which had an error in its oxygen detection system. I had given a project to analyze the existed obstacles and sought to found a solution. I came up with a system called Dissolved Oxygen Control System that intended to be installed in the deaerator plant. The objective is to control the amount of oxygen molecules in the seawater, thus prevent the oxydation process. I finished my internship in two months. A report was presented to the group of supervisors and managers in the engineering department and also to the lecturers in engineering physics department.

Internship project: System analysis - Polisher Unit Operation at Refinery Unit Location: Pertamina Refinery Unit PT SP-MPS is an engineering services company based on Bandung, Indonesia and experienced as general contractor and supplier to Pertamina’s Cilacap Refinery Plant, PT. Holcim Indonesia Tbk, PT. Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia, PT. Darmahenwa, PT. Kertas Padalarang, PLTU Tanjung Jati B, PLTU Cilacap, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, PT Pupuk Kujang, PT. Indofood and recently PT Sarana Agra Gemilang. It have been a credibe and accountable partner of Pertamina’s Cilacap since 1996, with a vast experience and expertise in procurement of products/components, as well as modification, maintenance & repair services of the following equipments: Mechanical (Rotating & Non-rotating); Electrical & electronics; Laboratory & workshop Instruments. Polisher unit is one of the main plant in Pertamina RU VI Balongan, which is one of the biggest refineries in Indonesia. SP-MPS is tasked to engineered the polisher unit control system. The objectives is to monitor and control the water demineralization process which is used later by other units in the refinery. My job is to prepared the training for engineers from Pertamina.The contents are the brief explanation about polisher process, the overview of the PLC control system in the unit, and the information about the interlock system in the unit. I finished my internship in two weeks.

It published 7 days a week. GEN SINDO is one of its rubrics and I wrote four articles and interviewed two sources.

Project: Data labelling for image recognition (data: street / traffic photos) Nodeflux is an IT company based on Jakarta, Indonesia. The products are implemented in many sectors such as smart cities; defence & security; traffic surveillance management; asset & facilities management; retail & wholesale store analysis, advertising and transportation. I was hired as a freelance with a task to label the data given which is a full package of street and traffic photos came from regions all over Jakarta. It divided into two groups, the first group filled with photos that had an online driver in it, and the rest of the photos went into the second bracket. I've done my job in two weeks, and manage to deliver 10000 labelled photos.

Engineering Physics degree offers the advantage of learning about control and instrumentation, industry process design, optimization with stochastic algorithm, oil and gas industry processes (mostly upstream), neural network, artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer programming. Also it briefly taught about materials, energy and acoustic engineering. All those lessons further develop through lab projects, a final project, and professional work experiences.
