Work Experience
Software Engineer
Johnson Controls•  July 2021 - July 2022
As a Software Engineering intern, I undertook many projects. Given I was working in the Sensors area of the Fire Detection department, I developed some software for both commercial and engineering use. Virtual Test Bench: a software used to simulate detectors, callpoints and other modules. This was intended for engineers' use to carry out tests and R&D processes. Mini-Snooper: a device used to snoop data from a fire system to check statuses of, usually, detectors. I worked on developing the firmware where I resolved many bugs and issues and implemented further features. Conventional Loop Calculator: a software where I added some minor modifications. A calculator which presents theoretical current and voltage readings from a fire system which can be practically replicated.
