Work Experience
Application Developer
GDC•  September 2018 - September 2020
I work on the warehouse team supporting the existing code base and adding new features for this project. I played a pivotal role in the integration of unit tests into the CI pipeline, piloting the test studio implementation, and spreadsheet receiving process. This project is currently being rewritten so most of my daily work involves bug resolution and isolated refactoring of the existing code base to help align with the new microservice architecture goals. • Designing and implementing new features for website written in c#. • Leveraging entity framework as primary ORM / repository. • Integration of unit tests in the azure build pipeline. • Prototype and pilot Telerik test studio automation project. • Using quartz.net scheduler for long running background jobs. • Producing many adhoc scripts, triggers and procedures in MSSQL.
Programmer
Listrak, Inc•  April 2013 - August 2018
As a programmer at Listrak, I worked closely with project managers on customized solutions for our clients e-commerce and re-engagement campaigns. I solved many integration issues, developed an internal library to reduce middle-ware development times, and put together many prototypes to help others visualize potential options. I was then promoted to play a critical role on the engineering team primarily responsible for the flat file import process. Using the middle-ware experience I gained in my prior role, my team and I developed new features within the import process nearly eliminating the need for custom middle-ware apps.
Network Administrator / Programmer
FoxPool•  April 2007 - April 2013
I had the opportunity to perform many roles at this SMB that was still struggling to adapt a digital process workflow. Originally brought on to maintain the network systems, my desire to automate and introduce new technologies proved paramount in the transition away from many outdated processes still heavily reliant on paper trails and excessive manual data entry. • Built custom internal web app combining AS400 mainframe and .net. • Designed and semi-automated return goods assessment process. • Converted paper based purchase order system to PDF request system eliminating the need to purchase expensive multi-part paper forms. • Created AutoCAD plugin to automate A-B pool liner verification process reducing engineering labor by approximately 30 minutes.
