Modernization Project – Full Stack Developer  Worked to modernize a railway company’s old cobalt system using Java 8, Angular Typescript and Spring Boot Starter Web.  Built Rest API’s using Spring Rest to retrieve CRUD commands and return JSON responses from database.  Created web page design and Rest API calls with Angular Typescript, CSS, and HTML.  Developed backend classes and methods with Java 8.  Tested the functionality of the front and backend methods using Swagger and JUnit respectively.  Key achievement: Devised a method in backend to organize and display a list of employee schedules by name, date, and position on the frontend in a calendar format.

Caliber Staging Module – Backend and Test Developer  Worked on an application to manage assignment of associates to a particular manager, to balance workload.  Developed and maintained the database with DBeaver and Hibernate.  Made use of JpaRepository methods and NativeSQL to retrieve all associates assigned to a particular manager. Expense Reimbursement System – Java Full Stack Developer  Created full stack application to process reimbursements for employee expenses.  The front-end view used HTML and JavaScript to make the application call to server-side components.  The back-end system used Hibernate to connect to an AWS RDS Postgres database.  Utilized JUnit to test the functionality of more than 75% of all backend methods.  Key achievement: Creation of a JavaScript method to convert JSON timestamp into user readable format.
