I am Madhu Alapaka, a dedicated MTech student in Software Engineering at VIT-AP University, where I have achieved a CGPA of 9.31 and received the top student merit award in my first year. My academic journey has been complemented by hands-on experience in software development, data-driven solutions, and artificial intelligence. I have successfully completed several projects, including a Professional Android Attendance App that features a user-friendly interface and functionalities for attendance management and subject handling. This project showcases my ability to create scalable applications that address real-world needs. Additionally, I am actively engaged in a research project titled "Spatial Query Performance Analyses on a Big Taxi Trip Origin-Destination Dataset," where I analyze complex datasets to derive meaningful insights. My technical skills are further highlighted by my participation in various hackathons, including the Flipkart 5.0 hackathon and SUSTAIN-A-THON 2024, where I collaborated with teams to develop innovative solutions under pressure. I have also excelled in competitive programming, as evidenced by my achievements on HackerRank, where I earned my first Python badge and continuously challenge myself to improve my coding skills. In addition to my technical expertise, I have a strong foundation in NoSQL databases, having prepared for exams covering essential concepts such as database revolutions, transactions, and data integrity. I have also completed certifications in Redis and am well-versed in various programming languages, including Java and PHP. Beyond my technical pursuits, I am an enthusiastic learner with a passion for creative projects, including drawing, music, and design. I believe in the power of collaboration and innovation, and I am constantly seeking opportunities to apply my skills to impactful projects in the tech industry.
