 Developed applications to solve operational problems related to Investment and Fund Accounting of Private funds.  Developed highly complicated, risk and sensitive applications to automate accounting tasks for 200+ firm accountants.  Designed, developed, tested and released the Front end and Back end (Java) of our applications to Production.  Continuous interaction with end users to gather business requirements and taking care of support work as and when needed.  Led managed and mentored 3 interns who worked closely on my projects during their internship.  Single-handedly owned a complicated part of an application which is being used by 100+ end users.  Led and worked as a project lead for many software projects and handled the entire SDLC of those projects.  Automated the generation of Financial Statement component using Java, iText; saving 200+ days of user’s manual generation.  Led and been part of efforts to develop solutions to tackle financial problems in the firm.  Reviewed the code developed by other developers in the team; constantly mentoring junior developers in my team.  Technologies used: Java 8, REST, Dropwizard framework, iText 5, Camunda Workflow, JUnit, MySQL, Sybase, Reladomo (ORM), Maven, GS Java Collections, Subversion, Proprietary script technologies.
