• Responsible for managing the data engineering function of a leading home improvement business platform. • Evaluating e-commerce raw data, assessing business needs and objectives and performing complex data analysis to influence senior level decision making. • Drove collaboration within a cross-functional team to shape strategic plans and support the migration of Product IDs to BazaarVoice format. • Conducting technical analysis of the XML format, designed and implemented data pipelines and guaranteed high quality code to integrate the seller’s marketplace on the BazaarVoice platform. • Collating reviews from the BazaarVoice platform and subsequently building an Q / A on the e-commerce website to enhance digital capabilities. • Deploying flows on a gitlab pipeline to assist continuous integration and embedding cloud functions integrate each product Q / A into the BigQuery database. • Successfully led the migration from Teradata to Big Query to forge annual cost savings and drive significant performance improvements. • Working closely alongside the marketing team for examine call reiteration, designing standard development procedures and training new personnel on requirements. • Utilising Google Data Studio to collect product review insights and escalate criticisms to suppliers. • Developing a large SQL script to extract call data and devised in-depth spreadsheets to identify delays between customer calls in order to support operational efficiency.

• Appointed to measure business needs and deliver data-focused solutions for a retail e-commerce business. • Spearheaded the migration of the e-commerce platform from Magneto to Salesforce Commerce Cloud and established function and technical specifications. • Migrated databases from Sybase IQ / Oracle to BigQuery in order to enhance architecture of table and maximise performance levels. • Managed the analysis of competitor data through the Google Cloud Platform and generated of isochronous maps to highlight the distance between JULES store, customers and competitor stores. • Coordinated the migration of ETL tools from ODI (ex-Sunopsis) to Stambia by implementing data pipelines, maintenance procedures and Python 3 flows.
