I have experience leading a development team and providing mentorship to a junior developer. My role involved overseeing sprint meetings and planning workloads using TargetProcess as a project management tool. One of my notable achievements was successfully migrating all live websites from ASP.NET to WordPress/PHP. This required leveraging my expertise in legacy code and CMS development to ensure seamless transitions and minimize disruptions. I was responsible for maintaining and managing up to 18 live websites and their corresponding custom CMS, which were developed using C# and .NET. Throughout my tenure, I consistently identified and addressed bottlenecks and bugs to optimize the performance of these websites. A significant project I undertook was the development and implementation of a .NET C# project for SafetyNetwork.me. This involved designing and implementing the database and overseeing the entire project from start to finish. In managing the infrastructure, I utilized AWS technologies such as EC2, RDS, and S3. These services allowed me to store and retrieve data, configure servers, and efficiently manage the overall infrastructure. Additionally, I used IIS (Internet Information Services) to handle both development and production websites, including configuring web applications and servers, implementing security features, and monitoring performance. Moreover, I have proficiency in utilizing Cloudflare and its features to improve website speed and security. This includes managing DNS settings, implementing SSL certificates, optimizing caching mechanisms, and overall performance optimization.
