I was a Backend Developer who directly engaged in consumer-facing applications development using Java (Spring Boot), MySQL and AWS. Followed software development life cycle methodologies and processes. Participated as an active member of the development team implementing a new project, Patient Upfront Payments which was developed with the main objective of providing and collecting the patient portion of the healthcare charges upfront. I was responsible for maintaining security and quality standards in each project involved. Obtained experience in backend feature development, authentication, Amazon Web Services SQS integration and SMS server integration with Twilio. I was assigned to system documentation for features developed by me and the research conducted. Obtained a better understanding of testing tools such as Junit, and unit test scripting. Got familiar with agile methodologies such as scrum and the projects were managed via Jira. My good communication and team collaboration skills were improved.
