Bassa has been deployed on a single node Kubernetes cluster with good orchestration yet there is a need for a dedicated monitoring and alerting system integrated into this cluster. Bassa has a dedicated API server that serves the purpose of an automated download queue. Writing efficient client libraries would surely be a great use for other developers to easily integrate the automated download queue into their projects.

Tech Stack: PHP, Laravel, HTML and CSS As part of the internship, I was the team leader for a team of 6 web development interns working on the project NEXEL World. I have executed my responsibilities as a mentor by taking a video session onboarding the interns and with tutorials on using git and GitHub, I was active clearing their doubts around the project through chat systems. As chosen interns are from various skill levels, I was into picking the tasks and distributing among the interns maintaining equity. I was into reviewing pull requests for quality code being merged into the project code base. We as a team were able to complete about 20 tasks during this short period.

Tech Stack: Kubernetes, Docker, docker-compose, Locust, Flask I was part of the Bassa DevOps team as part of GSoC 2019 during the summer. I have decreased migration, production, and development setup time of Bassa (an n-tier application) components by 80% by writing optimized light-weight container definitions and automation shell scripts. Decreased server response latency and downtime to a large extent by integrating WSGI and supervisord. Written Kubernetes configurations for on-premise deployment of Bassa containers over a single node cluster.
