My roles and responsibilities in Mercedes-Benz R&D India have been many! 1. Senior Analyst: I worked on the topics of Battery cooling systems and Electronic components' cooling. Included functional evaluation of performance and innovation of new designs of the systems. 2. CAE Analyst: Was involved with digitalisation of prototype cars in the assembly and build a virtual world for the workers involved in the assembly. 3. Design Engineer: Was involved in evaluation and proposals of new layouts for Mercedes-Benz Trucks, to come up with new efficient designs.

A Post-graduate course that involved learning techniques to extract useful information from raw data and build models to visualise the data and predict future possibilities. Some of the useful topics covered were: 1. Predictive Analytics 2. Multivariate Analysis 3. Frequentist and Bayesian Probabilities 4. Statistical Machine Learning 5. AI 6. Stochastic Modelling 7. Uncertainty Quantification This course enabled me to overcome my weakness of programming, and I picked up 2 languages most useful for Data Science: Python and R.
