I worked with real time operating systems to play media from satellite and internet on set top boxes. I have written and worked with Ethernet, modem, IR, GPIO, UART, watchdog, diseqc, and flash drivers. I wrote code and designed streaming video solutions using gstreamer. I wrote 2 recovery boots that recovered set top boxes with corrupted software by download and flashing new software over satellite. In addition I updated a build system to compress code before storing it in flash and then I designed and implemented the secondary boot that decompressed the code into ram on boot up.
