Consulted with multiple clients, including Egghead.io and Washington Post's Apartment Showcase, on web development best practices for both the Ruby on Rails & React ecosystems. Shakacode’s focus is on First Contentful Paint time reductions through server-side rendering. That said, I also did a lot of general refactoring & set up of linting & integration testing to bring code bases closer to industry best practices.

During my time at TAMU-C, I continually challenged myself to grow, particularly by taking ownership of a neglected cybersecurity student organization to take part in the CCDC regional qualifiers. We failed to qualify & the time I invested in this organization negatively impacted my grades, but I learned a lot: about cybersecurity, about organizational behavior, & about my own limits.
