Software Engineer Fellow

Built and deployed 5 AI projects in 5 weeks using React JS, Next.js, Firebase, Clerk, and Vercel, following agile methodologies with weekly sprints and incorporated CI/CD practices for iterative deployment. Worked in a team of 3 to develop a simple interactive customer support agent using Next.js, using OpenAI that responds based on the data provided in the system prompt, deployed on an AWS EC2 instance. Collaborated with 2 other Fellows to build and deploy a SaaS product that generates dynamic flashcards based on any topic using the OpenAI API, managed user authentication using Clerk, integrated a paywall and custom pricing plans using the Stripe API. Implemented a web scraper that automatically extracts data from Rate my Professor and inserts to a Pinecone index, integrated with a RAG pipeline using LangChain and OpenAI GPT-4o to get up-to-date and relevant answers to user queries. Worked on an AWS Amplify application for a startup company using Amplify UI, auth, data, and functions, which integrates a chatbot which uses Google’s Generative AI to generate personalized workout plans for users based on their age, gender, height, weight, goals, and training style, and used Jest for CRUD tests on backend data models. Participated in weekly sessions with engineers from Google, Y Combinator, Stanford, Amazon and venture-backed startups.
