Developed a browser-based dashboard to help test various alternative navigation equipment, such as inertial measurement units and infrared cameras, for the US Air Force in a 6 month contractor position. Using ReactJS, ExpressJS, and MongoDB inside Docker containers, the dashboard was designed to be easily used while in an airplane and on the ground and improved data collection and analysis of flight tests. Version control was handled using Gitlab’s issue tracker and a Kanban board
Reverse Engineering Co-op

Gained knowledge of reverse engineering principles and documentation, while working with tools like Ghidra and WireShark. Assisted in a security audit of military base systems. Increased professional experience in technical writing and security evaluations in a government environment while learning how to manage classified material.
Digital Technology Intern

Automated export control, a large pain point for international engineers. Using Dataiku, a data analysis tool, and Python, large sets of data were processed and tagged for export resulting in $11m in savings as of August 2018, and an estimated yearly savings of $24m. First experience with big data and engineering processes.

NDC Technologies•  May 2017 - August 2017
Researched and wrote an application for Microsoft’s HoloLens. Primarily worked in Unity and Blender and used SVN as version control. The application was intended as a proof of concept for new training methods and would walk the user through replacing a part on a company product using an augmented reality interface, reducing travel and personnel expenses.
INTERAlliance Intern
General Electric (GE)•  June 2016 - August 2016
First experience with corporate environment and learned valuable time management and Agile skills. Developed the proof of concept for a web tool used to streamline AWS instance creation, which later became GE’s main Platform-as-a-service model for the next few years. Developed an algorithm in Ruby that analyzed AWS instances and flagged those that did not meet company standards.
