Context-based image retrieval is retrieving images from a large database of digital images using a computer system. Hence the features of individual images have been extracted through which we have studied computer-based image recognition. We used color, shape, and texture features for every image and use them for computation purposes. The database contains different images and can be classified into ten different classes and each class has some type of image. This study is about checking the performance of every feature for different types of images and seeing the ability of features to discriminate the images between classes.
