Software Engineer Intern, IQVIA Inc., PA May 2019 - May 2020 Built an NLP model using OpenNLP, Spacy libraries to develop a chatbot integrated with communication channel to interact with their existing distributed system. Model automatically extracts entities from the free text entered by user. Delivered alternate interface for the customers to query via free texts rather than selecting from pre-defined set of options. Project was implemented using both Scala, Python and developed services layer using Finch/Finagle Webservice, Flask. Followed TDD, CI/CD pipelines and Docker containers to deploy the project.

Software Engineer, Sony India Software Center Pvt Ltd, India August 2016 - August 2018 As a backend developer for Sony Pictures And Entertainment (SPE-B2B) web app project, delivered major features, incidents on time with quality and efficient code using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Hibernate. Optimized result fetch time of various microservice modules from 1min to < 5sec using Solr indexing, developed schedulers for automating email deliveries, migrated existing modules to leverage the usage of open source tools for few of these enhancements. Followed TDD using Junit, Mockito. Received accolades from Sony Pictures product owners for innovation, adaptability and versatile team player. Volunteered to work as a developer for ‘Internal Apps’ project team within Sony to design and deliver employee's hierarchy module.
