Working as a Team Lead in the industry of the IT Security as a Service I was in charge of guide my team through technical challenges in a mixed environment (on-prem and cloud native). Plan and design REST services to work inside the microservices architecture of the company using a mix of technologies (80%+ Erlang and Python) and a mix of on-premises and AWS multi-region cloud based deployments. Plan software architecures to be developed by our team using cutting edge cloud-native tecnologies like Docker, (Docker for AWS, Docker Swarm, Docker compose, Alpine Linux), Amazon Web Services (AWS S3, ECS, EC2, RDS, Kinesis and Redshift), service discovery, RabbitMQ, load balancing, and auto-scaling to do data processing of thousands customers for finance dep. Integrate with external third-party REST and non-REST services (like Zuora, Salesforce and DynamoDB); and internal team-owned BI Data Warehouse (built with Redshift). Plan the CI environment automation (using Jenkins and JobDSL) for our team and the integration with the software delivery pipeline of the company to setup our teams workflow.
