Full-Stack Senior software engineer working on a project for Foundation Medicine developing and maintaining the application responsible to generate reports for cancer patients based on their genomic profile in order to identify therapy, trial and scientific text content for the patient's oncologist better decide the best possible treatment. Implemented successfully a solution based on AWS SQS, Lambda and Elastic Search to update the ES index whenever a case is modified in the system. Delivered key features to the service that required deep knowledge of how the application is designed (CQRS and Domain Driven Design) in order to implement what was required. The application runs on AWS ECS using Docker containers. Technologies used: Java 8, Spring Boot and Postgres (an AWS RDS instance) providing a RESTful web service on the back-end and React for front-end; NodeJS service also providing a RESTful web service. This service uses other AWS services like Lambda, RDS (oracle instance) and SQS. CI/CD: Jenkins pipeline building Docker images that are deployed to AWS ECS; Infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation.

Full-Stack Senior developer working on a project to develop a new Quantitative Prime Brokerage solution for Citi Bank clients trading EMEA securities. This new Execution Management System solution will be software based and designed to handle low-latency order flow from systematic / quantitative hedge funds and statistical arbitrage broker-dealers. The solution is based on Spring, Hibernate, Oracle providing a REST API on the back-end and Angular JS along with Material design and other javascript frameworks for the front-end.

Senior Consultant Specialist (2015-2016) (2015-2016) Senior Java developer working on a project to develop a new version of the Home broker web application used by the investment bank clients. We use agile methodology (Scrum). On the technical side we use Spring, JSF, Hibernate and Oracle along with external interfaces to stock exchange. Project Leader (2012-2015) (2012-2015) Manager of 4 application support teams managing their tasks and resource performance. Also I work as a service manager by looking after a pool of applications for the Investment bank (Futures, Collateral Management, Fixed Income and Utilities). We provide support to users in different locations across the globe, such as New York, London, Malasya and Hong Kong. We cover the follow the sun model by working with teams located in India and China. Also I work as a service manager by looking after a pool of applications for the Investment bank (Futures applications). We have a process in place which follows ITIL V3. Senior Software Analyst (2008-2009) Acting as a business analyst for HSBC to work with requirements gathering to an insurance distribution project. I have acted directly as a bridge between the business and IT teams as a facilitator and also helping with the most important project decisions.
