Php web development and design. Software developers are subjected to thorough understanding of PHP using yii1 and 2 framework, OOP, MVC structure, HTML, CSS, MySQL and any additional language one may chose to learn( in my case - Javascript). Using Git is a must, and it is used to push changes made on our project(s) to the origin Master branch. Integrating with third parties API (REST) and libraries are learnt through a much more practical approach. Also, a knowledge development (KD) session, which entails that one presents a related topic of interest to the rest of the team. This helps one to improve on public speaking, grammar and vocabulary, and a lot more. Additionally, one may be assigned a micro service, which I am, and it involves me overseeing the Maintenance/Infrastructure activities of the entire office space. This currently comes with a lot of gained experience and well over time.
