- Develops and tests embedded C software for payload, flight control, and attitude control boards on multiple CubeSats that have been successfully deployed in orbit. - Contributes to software development and maintenance efforts for python and visual basic ground software systems that communicate with CubeSats on orbit to dispatch software patches and run mission operations. - Various Python software tool development to automate tedious, complex, remote, or repetitive tasks to save time and effort. - Developed and refactored complex software interface between simulation, firmware, and hardware layers into a more separated OOP C++ solution. - Lead improvements to lab processes for remote development work on embedded hardware using Linux OS and remote commanding of equipment.

Avionics Intern

● Worked with an existing code base to fix bugs and add new features to a graphical interface, used to view telemetry data for testing purposes. ● Developed drivers for National Instrument cards to interface with hardware, used to send commands and produce telemetry data to test hardware. ● Technologies involved: Python, PyQt, Git, NI-DAQmx libraries.

Software Engineer Intern

Intel Corporation•  June 2014 - June 2015

● Developed metric tracking application that automatically generated Excel spreadsheet with populated data, saving time and preventing data entry errors. ● Created stripped down versions of Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) tests to be ran independently of the testing suite, allowing validation errors to be debugged on pre-production systems. ● Assisted with driver validation on test kernels for Linux and Windows. ● Technologies involved: C#, WHQL and Excel API’s, bash scripting, Linux (Solaris, SLES).
