Cefalo Bangladesh Limited•  June 2018 - Present

Cefalo is a Norway based consulting and offshoring company. Here I am working with their clients in Norway to build and improve various web apps. Amedia: Amedia is one of Norway’s largest publishers of local media. Here, I was tasked with creating an embeddable web app in React that consumed data from a cutting edge CMS system called Sanity. I used React hooks to manage state and Sanity’s GROQ query language to fetch data from the CSM. Moment: Moment is a cloud-based project management tool. We were tasked with the migration of their legacy Backbone frontend system to a modern React system. The new system uses Redux for state management and employs an in-house tool for the data layer called entity-data. The UI is designed in Figma and is converted to a reusable set of component libraries that gets heavily used in the main application. We worked on implementing various reusable components and parts of their application’s core modules. Egmont: Egmont is one of Norway’s leading media groups. As part of their IT team we were tasked with implementing different projects. We worked on building a few websites in Wordpress, forum software built in PHP, a cross domain recommendation engine using Python and Elasticsearch and lastly migrating their legacy Java based blogging platform to a multi-site Wordpress platform.

Front-end Developer

At LIM Lessons I was tasked with the development of their learning management platform. LIM is a one of a kind platform for learning language from people around you who are proficient at it. I worked on the front-end of their V2 app which was in React and Redux. This project has given me great insight in front-end architecture and I was in the middle of solving some of the toughest problems in mature front-end code base such as internationalization.

Shimahin Limited•  April 2017 - January 2018

ShopHobe is a hyper-localized multi-vendor e-commerce platform aimed at Bangladeshi vendors. It features a very easy to use UX/UI built to make the lives of the vendors easier. It is a concern of Shimahin Limited-- a startup/firm from Dhaka. I was tasked with the creation of the vendor side app in React.js for this project. Later on I was appointed as SCRUM initiator for the frontend team. Apart from front-end work I was tasked with Deploying both front and backend servers as well as securing and maintaining them. I also deployed and maintain Taiga, a SCRUM tool, for them.

iQuantile is a New York based tech company that offers tech solutions to different clients across the world. They also work on their own management platform called Quantibly. At iQuantile I had my introduction to professional software development. I got to learn a lot from their experienced team and tried my hand at my own project.
