Led the core user flow design for on-demand streaming & voting system aiming to achieve fast latency, high availability & scalability to accommodate more than 100% user increase Led a team of 5 in the implementation of the backend life cycle from ground up, using tech stacks such as, Python, Django REST API, Read Native, Google Cloud, Pub/Sub, cloud storage, NOSQL, SQL, Firebase, Redis Caching, App Engine, Docker & Kubernetes, Github Actions. Achieving 99.9% availability, fast latency, highly scalable system with high throughput Review codes with development, teams to run test scenarios, fix bugs, & deploy to github(CI/CD), playstore, appstore, serverless PaaS/IaaS. This achieved a reduction in downtimes by at least 90% Designed & implemented live streaming system, which enabled users, access content on terrestrial tv, cable tv, mobile & web devices. This increased user retention by 150% Implemented workflow management with apache airflow & tensorflow, for a movie recommendation engine, which is increased user retention rate by 55.5% Introduced the concept of test driven development to the project workflow, which led to a 90% reduction in crashes Mentoring of junior developers, teaching skills in OOP, testing & working to improve overall team performance.
