SUPCOM (or SUP'COM or Higher School of Communication of Tunis), founded in 1998, is an elite school for engineers in Tunisia. It is very selective, only the top 150 of the competitive examination for the access to the engineering studies (around 5000 candidate) are accepted. Member of the Réseau Méditerranéen des Ecoles d'Ingénieurs (Mediterranean engineering schools’ network), Sup’Com was admitted since december 2008 as an associated member in the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE), it is furthermore the first foreign school to be associated internationally with the Institut Mines-Télécom.

Preparatory Institute for Engineering Studies of Tunis (IPEIT)

The Preparatory Institute for Engineering Studies of Tunis or IPEIT is a Tunisian university institution founded on April 24, 19951. It is also a preparatory class for engineering universities because in Tunisia, these are done in separate institutions and not in high schools as in France. IPEIT is one of the best preparatory schools in Tunisia after the Preparatory Institute for Scientific and Technical Studies (IPEST). The places offered are indeed exhausted from the first round (30% of graduates) despite the relatively strict access criteria.
