During my internship, I developed a Student-Teacher Appointment System using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Firebase to streamline the scheduling process and improve efficiency. I used HTML to structure pages, including student dashboards, teacher profiles, and booking forms. With CSS, I designed a clean, responsive UI using Flexbox, Grid, and Bootstrap, ensuring a seamless experience across devices. JavaScript powered key interactive features, such as dynamic scheduling, form validation, and appointment status updates. I implemented real-time availability checks to prevent double bookings and used modals and animations to enhance user experience. To manage data efficiently, I integrated Firebase Firestore, which stored student appointments and teacher schedules securely. This allowed for real-time updates, ensuring appointment changes were immediately reflected across the system. Firebase Authentication was used for secure logins, enabling role-based access where students could book appointments, and teachers could manage availability. I also optimized performance by lazy loading content, minimizing CSS and JavaScript, and implementing asynchronous Firebase operations to ensure a smooth user experience. Error handling mechanisms were added to alert users about invalid time slots or scheduling conflicts.
