Programming cloud-enabled messaging system for radio equipment. Modified parts of testing software to run on a single thread instead of two, enabling the application to run on a single processor core. Wrote code to handle and support multiple wavelengths and protocols. Added support for older messaging protocols to work on newer software versions. Created testing configuration for the features and functionalities I added to automate unit testing. Converted Parts of older unit testing software written in embedded C to C++ and made sure it was inter-compatible. Researched documentation automation using Doxygen for a better structured and organized code with the ability to generate documents using the API. Created guidelines on confluence to clarify correct documentation procedures and gave a presentation to the team. Researched C++ compiler behavior to ensure consistent execution of code as intended. Built Jenkins pipelines to automate module testing with trigger conditions ensuring every change to the repositories are tested. Wrote scripts to automate the testing of submodule with parent modules post-merge, increasing productivity and reducing time wasted on refactoring submodules.
