    Developed container-based microservices, in .NET C#, using Docker with Domain-Driven Design-oriented techniques, for a consulting project with Fujitsu. 1) Developed a microservice to convert different document formats into pdf; 2) Developed a microservice to perform OCR in different document formats; 3) Used RabbitMQ as the message broker of the microservices.

    Built a tested fully working prototype of a liquid soap and laundry detergent dispenser to be used in supermarkets, with the partnership of Gulbenkian, with the goal of saving on the huge amounts of plastic used in such bottles. 1) Designed the PCB responsible for controlling and powering the electronics in the dispenser, itself controlled by a Raspberry Pi; 2) Designed and developed an accompanying Business-Side webapp using Flask and SQLite in the back-end and React in the front-end (focused on developing mainly the backend, on the front-end I did mostly refactoring, maintenance and bug-fixing only), responsible for tracking the products sold in the dispenser; 3) Developed the dispenser Point of Sale client-side app using PyQT, integrating it with the electronics. 4) Deployed the back-end server on an Amazon EC2 instance using NGINX as the reverse proxy server. 5) Deployed the front-end on Vercel

    Developed scripts/simple webapp to remote control a Stern-Gerlach experiment. Explored MQTT protocol, the app was built in Anvil.Works (I focused mostly on its backend). Made a wrapper of PyVISA to control some of the instruments in the experiment.

    Designed a simple WebApp to keep track of the number of people in a room, during the Covid-19 season, using Django, Heroku and PostgreSQL. The app was integrated with a Slack bot, which would, on request, inform the channel on the remaining number of allowed people in the room and send a warning whenever maximum capacity was reached.
