Specially Appointed Assistant Professor at Software Engineering Lab, Nara Institute of Science and Technology. - Conduct joint research initiatives on issues relating to software quality and security vulnerabilities with international research institutions. - Initiate and manage data science research projects for undergraduate students during their internship program. - Manage and maintain the availability of computing resources and data storages in the laboratory (Linux-based servers). - Analyze a source code generation tool's performance and look for improvement opportunities. - Serve on a program committee of premier software engineering conferences (ASE, MSR, ESEC/FSE). - Serve as a reviewer for Q1 journals including ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology (TOSEM), Empirical Software Engineering Journal (EMSE), and Journal of Systems and Software (JSS).

Security Research Intern

- Designed and implemented the prototype extension of the open-source code analysis tool called Eclipse Steady to identify whether vulnerable functions of third-party libraries exist in the JavaScript application. - Conducted a study with SAP's internal JavaScript applications to evaluate the performance of the prototype which was later published as a research paper at the International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE 2020).
