Backend Developer

My last position at Rappi was as a Backend Developer in the Turbo team using JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, Python and GO for the development of new projects (mostly microservices), implementing new scalable technical solutions to different areas; within my responsibilities was the planning and creation of the architecture of the new microservices, starting with the modeling of the databases, implementation of the solution in code, creation of unit tests, implementing automatic actions with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, until reaching the launch of the service in production, as well as the way to support it. In most projects I have used AWS cloud tools such as S3 Buckets, EC2 Elastic Service, RDS, Lambda, SQS and DynamoDB to integrate and use some special functions. Prior to this position, my job consisted of performing automations and integrations using JS and NO CODE Frontend tools like Retool, I designed and implemented ETL pipelines using Python (pandas, SQLAlchemy) and Airflow to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources (relational databases, CSV files) into a Power BI and Snowflake data warehouse. I also have knowledge in using Git, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Airflow and Kafka to work with the microservices environment and technologies.
