I completed a thesis in biomathematics. I examined the distribution patterns of FGF10 and SHH genes on the surface of a lung. The patterns were determined by a set of partial differential equations, which I solved numerically using the surface finite element method. The majority of my results came from original code written in C++, using the library deal.II.
