Approximately 18-month project to design and program a custom game engine in C++. Was involved with and contributed to the creative design of the project. Game engine was pseudo-3D with a custom C-like scripting language, as well as a robust animation format, capable of being compiled and run on x86 and ARM platforms. Wrote parsers for XML, JSON, CSV. Work environment consisted of Visual Studio Code, GCC/Clang, GDB, SDL, Tiled, Aseprite, Git, etc. Helped maintain remote Linux server for Git repository.
