Worked as an intern with Amazon on embedded systems. Got exposed to the following: Amazon FreeRTOS(AFR), AWS IOT CORE, AWS LAMBDA, MQTT and protobuff. Wrote python scripts for testing device quality of service. Interfaced touch display IO(ILI9341+XPT2046) with embedded platform using SPI(serial peripheral interface) that involved the usage of DMA(Direct memory access) to speed up the process of transferring frame buffer from device memory to touch display. Interfaced LittleVGL and MicroGFX UI frameworks with internal SW for rendering the UI on the touch display. Understood the basic principles of porting layer, HAL definitions and RTOS for embedded platforms. Used GDB+JTAG to debug/trace-control-flow of the SW stack.
