Architected and led the core team of 5 for a US based supermarket chain, handling all the ad-hoc requests from clients and delivering them end to end. Worked through 10+ projects within the organization to review the data model, architecture and data ingestion processes. Completed a POC on Unity Catalog and Microsoft Fabric with git integration to ensure version tracking. Thereafter, worked on exploring the set up involving CI/CD processes with Microsoft Fabric to develop a unified system for deployment as well. Conducted POC’s for new Databricks features including cost and usage tracking using system billing tables from unity catalog with computing resource as Serverless Compute. Worked on creating Databricks dashboards to keep tabs on the costing and usage per workspace and user level as well.

Experience working with business FCMG companies, applying data engineering techniques to drive sales growth by aggregating and visualizing raw data effectively using Azure cloud services. Collaborated Closely with the team utilizing agile methodologies to deliver effective results. Recently delivered interactive business dashboards using advanced data analytics techniques, including transforming and performing ETL operations on the data using Spark SQL in Databricks and data orchestration through Synapse pipelines related to supply chain and B2B sector. Created various KPI’s in dashboards and operations scorecards in Microsoft Power BI for easy customer use like Operations Scorecard to keep track of which sales stores are performing the best region wise which helped the client to focus sales on that area and improved the net sales by 43%. Additionally, played a key role in overseeing all aspects of UI/UX design for the dashboard. Key member for adding detailed documentation for vast variety of tools.
