I designed, built, and implemented a more efficient patient arrival management system in React Native, resulting in 1,638 hours and $65,520 of improved clinical efficiency every year. I coordinate clinic operations, including patient care and education, appointment scheduling, inventory management, documentation, billing, and clinic sanitation. I interview, hire, train, and supervise a team of five employees and student interns by creating hiring standards documentation, training roadmaps, study guides, and other materials.

Software Engineer

I met with the leaders of a pediatric clinic to understand their needs and developed a custom patient arrival management system, which is used by 15 therapists per day and saves an estimated average of 182 hours and $7280 per therapist per year. The system includes an automated alert system leveraging Google Cloud Functions to push notifications to therapists' mobile devices. The system handles 1,500 weekly interactions, streamlining communication within the care team. I independently built, tested, and installed the system before the promised due date and iterated with new features for a month after delivery.

Education Intern

I turned legacy video and written educational materials for school board members into interactive courses and accompanying quizzes as part of a team. I made auditory medias accessible by transcribing verbal language into subtitles. I found stories from school districts and wrote articles detailing their success for educators statewide.
