• Got NSIN (Nokia Scalable IP Networks), IRP (Interior Routing Protocols such as OSPF & IS-IS) and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) training. • Built Static-Routing, OSPF and IS-IS topologies on virtual routers. Ran MPLS on them using both LDP (Label Distribution Protocol) and RSVP (Resource Reservation Protocol). • Gave OSPF and MPLS training sessions to new interns on virtual routers. • Inventoried SFP (Small form-factor pluggable), MDA (Media Dependent Adapter), IOM (Input/Output Module) and IMM (Integrated Media Module) cards that were both free-to-deploy and already deployed on routers and switches

• Launched several new databases on AWS EC2 and configured them. • Got familiar with SingleConnect (Product of the company). • Improved my Networking, SQL and UNIX command skills. • Tested new versions of SingleConnect and wrote test scripts in Bash with another intern to automate the testing process. • Wrote guides on how to deploy new database software and integrate them to SingleConnect Instances. • Wrote several scripts on Python to monitor every machine on AWS and look for connection or service problems.
