Leads a team of over ten engineers and developers providing software and infrastructure (cloud and on prem) architecture, design, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing production support for systems that currently house over 250 million customer documents and over 3 billion individual item records. Clients’ list includes largest players in pharmaceutical, retail and CPG industries. Provides all HR management activities. Delivers guidance and hands on effort with development, migrations, upgrades, POCs, operations, and administration of complex systems maintaining absolute minimal production downtime by leveraging automated recovery and maintenance tools, clustering, and horizontally scalable technologies. Directs all technology stacks, systems, and tools utilized including MongoDB, ArangoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka/Kafka Streams, Docker Swarm, Redis, and Zookeeper as a backbone of the application services. Oversees projects with a total budget of over $2MM annually and collaborates with Product teams to plan and prioritize projects. Key contributor to IT budgeting analysis, planning, and estimations for an operating budget of over $3MM annually. Produces robust, scalable, manageable applications and services leveraging a DevOps model and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with Agile methodologies. • Instituted a DevOps methodology for operations and development teams that reduced production issues by 80%. • Skillfully built and managed a team starting from one person and grew it into a "well-oiled machine" of ten engineers.
