• Designed and developed the Feed feature, which delivered content, coupons and targeted marketing to users via the Wine Ring app. Utilizing location, demographic information, ratings and other indicative behaviors this system delivered targeted content. Implemented both the back-end API and the front-end application for creators to design content and select target audiences. This feature allowed wine retailers to send coupons and other marketing to their desired audience. It was also used in-house by wine experts to provide tips and trivia to users. • Re-architected and ported the Wine Ring API from Symfony 2 to Symfony 4. This led to a more efficient, maintainable and secure platform for our backend which adhered to current best practices. Added PHPUnit testing and mentored team in unit testing practices. Integrated PHPUnit into deploy process, ensuring all tests passed before releasing a new software version. • Developed the Wine List generator used by restaurants/tasting rooms to create PDFs for menu printing. Restaurants were previously doing wine lists by hand and were able to update their selection more efficiently using this feature. Prototyped a full virtual menu application for use on iPads in high-end restaurants.
