- Execute the firmware and hardware tests on the IBM’s next generation z Systems mainframe throughout the hardware development cycle. - Debug the firmware problems when appropriate and follow-through the resolution of the defects reported on the tracking system. - Part of the team who worked with z/OS’s Unix Service System, Language Environment, BCPii (Base Control Program internal interface), z/OS Management Facility and zFS (z/OS File System) components. - Successfully developed functional testing plans against various z/OS components, then executed and automated the test plans throughout the different phases of the software development cycle.
