Worked primarily on Java and Spring Boot, and jenkins for an investment bank. Familiar with agile methodologies and ensured to follow clean coding practices. CIB Prime Brokerage A reporting service which exposed APIs which used borrowing and lending information to generate Prime Brokerage reports. Initially wrote unit tests using JUnit and Mockito to gain a better understanding of the existing functionality. Implemented functionality that allowed reports to be downloaded as an excel file using java and spring along with the help of Apache POI. Created a POC UI using vanilla HTML and JavaScript which allowed easier access to the reports Post Trade Feeds A standalone project which is a collection of different independent jobs implemented using java and spring batch and configured to run via ControlM. Worked on QFC Compliance job where the main objective was to find and derive mappings that showed weather a party is QFC Compliant or not. Used Apache POI with spring batch to generate a compliance report that will be emailed to the required groups as part of the job execution. MSIRE A repository for storing Standing Settlement Instructions SSIs having various APIs to create, update, delete maintenance and search these SSIs. Worked in an Agile Environment which followed a Test Driven Development Process. Wrote unit tests and automation tests which are a part of the daily build. Created file loading utilities using spring boot and executors which was used by other teams to setup SSIs. Worked on fixing and identifying various bugs in the Search and Maintenance Api and migrated existing functionalities to make use of Java Streams Api. Worked on adding AMPS into the existing automation test code and provided helper classes to assist for future tests as well. Implemented new functionalities and changed existing functionalities for the Search and Maintenance APIs to remove usage of COSMIC services.
