As my PhD project, I do numerical modeling of thin unstratchable materials such as paper bands. More specifically, I am developing numerical approaches for minimization of the Willmore functional over space of isometric immersions of flat surfaces into 3D space.

I developed a numerical scheme and a computer program to calculate the invasion zone of drilling fluid during drilling a horizontal well in anisotropy porous formation. This was also a part of a real commercial project from my internship in oil and gas company.
