o Primarily responsible for programming and design tasks. o Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle – requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment o Ensure that the level of testing meets the given expectations, as coding is not complete until it is fully tested. o Ensure that the implementations meet the given specifications. o Ensure that the completed code meet the given programming guidelines and is well documented. o Bring to light anything that may be insufficiently defined. o Participate in creating and maintaining the system build infrastructure. o Participate actively in an agile development process. o Evaluate new technologies and evaluating how they could be integrated utilized to better serve clients.
