My work and responsiblities involve Automation and maintenance of the following :- 1. Micrsoft Windows patching and compliance. 2. Linux patching and compliance. 3. VMware – VM deployment. 4. Storage automation for different use case. 5. Backup solution automation. About my role :- 1. Follow a best practices approach, using advanced PowerShell coding and supporting tools to automate the provisioning, deployment, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure platform, with a key objective to eliminate manual, repetitive, automatable, or tactical tasks. 2. Working closely with colleagues and customer stakeholders, to ensure that tasks are completed are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner 3. Responsible for creating or amending standard operational procedures and producing effective documentation to high standard - which needs to be comprehensive, articulate, and accurate always. 4. To self-learn Maintain a high level of knowledge, ensuring that development skills are kept current and up to date. 5. To provide in depth evaluation, diagnostics, troubleshooting to resolve a wide variety of complex technical issues with the scope of the assignment or Statement of Works. 6. Work on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned Skills :- 1. Advanced coding skills using PowerShell with demonstrable experience 2. Excellent knowledge of Ansible 3. Excellent knowledge of version control software such as GitHub 4. Willingness to continuously self-learn and improve the automation framework 5. Excellent knowledge of "Infrastructure as Code" principles and practices 6. Developer mind-set - desire to automate wherever possible 7.
