Camera Application Framework Team, Visual Intelligence Group • Worked on camera framework layer bring-up in new Samsung mobile devices and new camera feature additions. • Decreased the processing time of the water mark node by 10-fold by code optimisation using memory profiling tools. • Added Java APIs for parsing and capturing DNG format images in the background from samsung android applications. AI based Camera Solutions • Implemented an SVM based best suitable camera mode predictor using preview frame attributes and past user data. • Created the pipeline for mode suggestion feature and runtime user data collection in samsung camera application. • Designed an algorithm for blur detection in macro mode capture using CNN with inputs from SVD of captured image.
