My primary job scope is IT infrastructure-related technical support and maintenance, as well as software development. I am involved in developing in-house web APIs and applications back-ends as well as the front-end in the form of desktop apps and websites in order to support critical operations in manufacturing of the company's products. These software solutions at times require building database architectures from the ground up as they need to be very customized to meet the demands of the high variance/mix of products offered by the company. Moreover, at times they require to interface with industry standard hardware with robustness as a priority, which means strict protocols in place to ensure the safety and reliability of these software solutions, as just one small mistake can cost a lot of harm to the company, lose customer trust etc. Throughout my experience I have built systems such as software that interfaces with IoT devices throughout the manufacturing process in order to gather large amounts of data as well as the data pipeline and database architecture to go along with it for further analysis. I also have experience building the back-end database architecture to facilitate the ease of use for engineers in the field to be able to utilize that data in order to build dashboard using tools such as Power BI and Tableau. I myself have experience doing some dashboards and data visualizations as well. I have also built Web APIs that facilitate the consumption of pre-trained machine learning models by various other applications that support the manufacturing process. I have some experience integrating applications with our ERP system as well.
