- Joined Layer 1 (L1) platform-independent team, acquired comprehensive knowledge of the infrastructure and codebase, developed proficiency in the TACC programming language, and gained in-depth understanding of Arista’s data center and cloud computing ethernet switches - Implemented ethernet switch management utility for L1 Topology, which included line cards, chips, PHYs, and SerDes connections between Layer 1 hardware components, filtered based on input tokens, and displayed the resulting information and statuses - Designed and implemented, using TACC and Python, config CLI commands to manage polarity on a transceiver slot, integrating it into the polarity resolution algorithm and documented it with a detailed design doc

- Designed using Miro Board and executed a data collection framework using Python, which included data sampling, image processing from AWS S3 buckets, and transmission to a GUI developed with Tkinter. This GUI streamlined data relabeling, enabling the team to rapidly triple the size of the ground truth dataset. Used new dataset to train and validate a new multilayer perceptron neural network - Constructed, trained, and validated a Python-based convolutional neural network (CNN) using PyTorch to accurately detect an object’s occlusion, which achieved a remarkable accuracy exceeding 90% - Applied feature selection methods and assessed performance metrics to compare the existing models with the newly made ones. Presented insights to senior management, advocating further acquisition of ground truth data and CNN enhancements for detecting occlusion in more complex objects - Developed a Python script to parse JSON data from AWS S3 buckets, categorize the objects, and generate multilevel distribution graphs of desired attributes, which shaped our strategy for sampling data
