▪ Planning out/implementing best practices to use for varying areas for RoadMap’s secure data analytics platform. ▪ Built secure data pipeline for a life sciences client, creating a system for the client’s data partners utilizing secure two-factor authentication to securely share PHI and PII data with HITRUST security standards. Wrote scripts for automated daily ETL processes to aggregate/analyze data from most of the major specialty pharmacies in the country ▪ Created various SQL and Python scripts executed daily to derive insights from the aggregated data which is reported to CEO and senior leaders daily via an interactive KPI excel workbook to show key metrics of our client’s therapies’ performance. ▪ Implemented SFTP servers and a secure network in the office that follows HIPAA/HITRUST guideline order to process PHI. ▪ Built website, automated batch jobs to run big data processes developed new expert certified de-identification technology for PHI and DICOM files, and machine learning models to analyze patients’ persistency, forecast demand and predict refill times for patients

▪ Worked with a 9-person intern team, I mostly wrote code in JavaScript, Angular Js, HTML, and SQL, to create an updated version of a legacy web app portal that had the ability to easily export, filter, and drill down into complex insurance data, with an interactive data table which when interacted with displayed the most accurate data chart associated with the selected data. ▪ Presented every two weeks in front of company managers and executives to update them on project progress and receive their feedback. Had multiple meetings daily, utilized Scrum and Agile methodologies, and learned how to develop a software product working closely with a team utilizing GitHub to share code. ▪ Optum360 Head of Engineering praised the project, preferred my team’s solution over using industry-standard Tableau.

Bioinformatics Intern

▪ Worked alongside the Head of Bioinformatics as the lead Python developer to design, implement Python parser programs along with a variety of other custom Python programs including web scraping, API data processing, and custom-built algorithms to analyze and filter large gigabyte sized datasets of protected patient data from CLIA certified lab while using Bash script on UNIX command line in order to upload genetic data files to the company’s genomics database.
