Computational science brings together mathematics, computer science and scientific disciplines for the purpose of simulation and solving difficult problems. It allows researchers to test hypotheses, analyse large sets of data and forecast phenomena with precision in areas such as physics, biology or engineering. Through algorithms and computational models, it offers insights into areas ranging from climate change to the behavior of subatomic particles.
