In KnoxMediaHub I've been working in the tech team as a media developer. My role was focused on developing media tools in Python. I've been using libraries such as Boto ( an aws cli wrapper) for handling files between ec2 machines and s3 buckets, creating and parsing XML files with "xml.etree.ElementTree", using FFmpeg library for creating ABR streaming workflows with HLS and MSS protocols, a trimming tool (called smart trim) for removing undesired video parts such as blacks between episodes, textless material or bars, different custom video transcoding profiles, custom watermarks in the video that can be adapted into any aspect ratio, subtitle edition and format conversion tools, custom audio mapping based on sidecar's metadata ect.
