During this program, I have studied the inner workings of global financial markets. I have gained a comprehensive understanding of rational and irrational behaviors' impact on both micro and macro levels. Furthermore, I have learned how to construct and manage a portfolio with a long-term perspective while staying informed about emerging trends shaping the investment management industry. This specialization has covered a wide range of topics, including the various asset classes available, the influence of central banks on markets and economies, individual financial decision-making, selling frameworks, market efficiencies, the dynamics of bubbles and crises, portfolio construction and investment styles, the limitations of modern portfolio theory, asset allocation, risk management, assessing fund performance, evaluating fund managers, and lastly, the specialization offered valuable insights into the future direction of the industry. The professor's use of examples and analogies throughout the courses was particularly memorable and impactful.

During 4 years of this program, I got to meet some of the brilliant minds from across the country and learned a lot that was going around in the field of tech. I was able to get hands-on practice on projects in various fields such as computer networking, telecom, VLSI, signal processing, robotics, data science, IoT, and web development. It also laid the foundation for me to eventually work in the field of finance (market).
